Yrkesgymnasiet Borås is primarily seeking a licensed vocational teacher in Child and Leisure, Construction and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Energy, and Vehicle and Transport. Those with at least five years of work experience in the relevant industries are also welcome to apply.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the future childcare workers, auto mechanics, electricians, and carpenters. More than half of the students' educational time takes place in a workplace, providing them with a solid foundation and advantage in the job market. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher in one of the above subjects or has at least five years of experience in one of the relevant industries and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Has the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in one of the relevant subjects and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of skilled workers. A teaching license and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
